Why Holyoke?

LightHouse serves teens from all over Hampden County and nearby communities.  Why are we located in the Innovation District of Holyoke?

Holyoke is a city of percolating ideas, ambitions, and innovation.   From a history based in entrepreneurship and hard work, Holyoke continues to innovate.  A renaissance is happening here, and the epicenter is Race St.

LightHouse is thrilled to partner with the ground-breaking community here.  We have developed connections and partnerships with many of our established and inspiring neighbors, including Gateway City Arts, The Boys and Girls Club, Girls Inc, The Gandara Center, Brick Coworkshop, the Massachusetts Green High Performance Center, and more.

We see the Innovation District as a campus, and LightHouse classes take advantage of the exciting spaces and resources already in place around us.  No other location in Western Massachusetts offers this ready-access to such an inspiring array of resources and creative community.

LightHouse is thrilled to connect with the renaissance happening here, and take our place in one of the most innovative and inspiring communities in New England.
