Support our music studio project!
This project is a student initiative. LightHouse students created the video and are leading this campaign because they would LOVE to have an improved music space where they can create and record.
Northfire Recording Studio and Professional Drywall are on board to build our vocal booth and practice room inside our music studio!
Designs are done. Everything is ready, EXCEPT we need to raise $2500 for additional materials and staffing. Can you help?
LightHouse is a registered 501(c)3 and all donations are entirely tax deductible. Any additional money raised will go toward the music program at LightHouse.
Here are some examples of particular things we need:
Two needed at $102.33 each to ensure that our young musicians have proper ventilation while they are in the booths. Pretty important!
A beautiful new kit was donated by someone awesome (John Bellos!!) and now we just need a mat for them to sit on. $34.95.
This is only $.63/ft, but we need 90 ft. Not beautiful, will be buried in the wall, but absolutely essential to the project.
That there is a four gang wall plate with eight female XLR connectors. Soon our students will know what that is and why we paid $34.40 for it.
A capo allows a guitarist to change key without mastering advanced techniques. Since most of our students are beginning musicians, capos are very useful tools. Need at least two at $12.98 each.
In our new sound proof practice room the students will be able to wail away on the drums without bothering anyone- but it doesn’t mean they should. There’s a lot to be said about toning it down. They should learn that, too. $18.99
