"We Didn’t Start The Fire" is a pop-rock song that offers us a buffet of events from history to explore - and get this, one version even put it all in chronological order for us. A quick 4-minute jam to start class, and then we’re digging into the events behind the songs. Often, we’ll work together to learn about the events in the song, and present them back to the group. But sometimes we might explore an event in-depth together with a reading or a documentary.

At the end of the block, we’ll have a timeline super-poster that we’ve assembled contextualizing the events captured in the song.
