Learn how bikes work by taking them apart, fixing them, and putting them back together. In Community Bike Lab, you’ll build real mechanical skills while learning about bike design, tools, gears, brakes, tires, chains, safety, and basic maintenance.
You’ll practice diagnosing problems, making repairs, and restoring bikes for real use. Along the way, you’ll explore how bike mechanics connect to physics, design, transportation, sustainability, and possible careers or business ideas.
As your skills grow, you may also help repair bikes for other students, families, or community members.
No previous bike repair experience is necessary. Come ready to work with your hands, solve problems, and learn how to fix what’s broken.
