LightHouse offers a very different way to live and learn. Our model is founded on up-to-date research on how people learn and continually evaluated, reassessed, and improved through ongoing, direct qualitative and quantitative feedback. Since opening in 2015 we have been disrupting traditional power structures in real time, transforming the traditionally hierarchical relationship between young people and adults to one of collaboration, founded on voluntary, shared agreements and inspired by student curiosity and leadership.
